What is changed in hardware?

 

Gps Gnss K96T Antenna

1. GNSS antenna has been enhanced to all-frequency antenna, which supports signals from all the existing or under construction Navigation Satellites.

Now, K96-T can receive satellite signals from GPS, GLONASS, COMPASS, SBAS and other satellite signals. After Galileo Positioning System completely comes to use in the future, K96-T need no modification in hardware, but only some upgrade in software to trace and analyze its signals.

2. Thanks to the larger reflector board as well as low noise RF amplifier, K96-T can quickly restore the GNSS signals. With the help of BD970 mainboard, K96-T is provided with an enhanced fast positioning ability in low elevation angle and multipath interference environment. 

3. The CPU for K96-T has been upgraded to ARM Cortex M4 Core With 100% increment in speed when compared with K9-T, its energy consumption became lower, and processing result became more stable. Internal memory has been upgraded from 64M to 4G, which supports long time continuous measurement, and provides more convenience for outdoor static data collection.

4. The hardware structure design is more rational now. All different function modules are integrated together. With fewer cables, wires, plugs inside the receiver, the connection failures are less than before.

5. Polymer materials are widely used in K96T to provide a complete and effective protection. When you put your hands onto the receiver, the feeling is more comfortable than old machines. K96T can survive from 2.5m drop and 1m water immersion. 

 

 

What is changed in software? 

 

1. Thanks to its enhanced conceptual design, integrated hardware &software, and optimized overall architecture for firmware, operator can control all the electronic modules with one file, which provides a great convenience for later maintenance and upgrade. The receiver works more smoothly under the new software architecture, systems errors caused by disc virus has been eliminated.

 

2. Eleven indicator lights real-time indicate the Data Link Mode, Work Mode, Battery Level, and other work modes, to inform operator its work state. K96-T also supports to switch modes without power off, and enables operators to switch between Base Mode, Rover Mode, and Static Mode directly, which makes the freshman easier to learn the operation. 

 

What is new for working method?

 

1. Built-in radio has integrated with receiving and emitting functions. It is compatible to all brands receiver, and meets the requirements for wireless transmission in 1-5 km distance. World’s famous brands of GPRS module seamlessly support mobile network of more than 95% countries and districts of the world. Whether it is in Europe or Latin America, K96-T guarantees seamless connection with CORS networks.

2. Even if there is no CORS or Radio nearby, K96-T can also provide connection from base to rovers, under the TCP/IP agreements.
