The Geohammer mechanical rock test rebound hammer was created in the DRC research laboratories, as the result of experimentation carried out in collaboration with the Università Politecnica delle Marche, where different families of stone materials were examined. The Geohammer mechanical rebound hammer is the only instrument available on the market today that can provide correlation between the rebound hardness scale values measured and the compression resistance of the rock tested.
