Para distancias muy cortas y muy largas en terrenos abiertos, trabaje con el láser. El Vertex Laser es un instrumento indispensable para el trabajo de inventario de bosques. Con su adaptabilidad y versatilidad, el VL5 es excelente para medir cerca y lejos, en bosques densos y en campos abiertos. .

El método ultrasónico es ideal para medir parcelas de muestra circulares o hacer un inventario con prisma inverso con los factores de área basal incorporados. La distancia correcta hasta el centro de la parcela o el diámetro mínimo requerido es rápidamente visualizado en la pantalla.

The Vertex Laser is extremely useful for power line measuring work, where the power lines easily can be spotted and measured with the magnifying sight. Line sags, borderline trees, heights, angles and distance – cover it all with the compact, user friendly Vertex Laser.

A filter function allows for flexible measuring, where you can select to measure the closest object, the farthest object or the object that submits the strongest signal.

 BAFBAF - Basal area factors

The ultrasonic method is suited for measuring circular sample plots or reverse prism cruise with the built in basal area factors.

Working with factor gauge or prisms can sometimes offer difficulties when in the forest some trees cover others. Poor sighting can prevent a correct diameter measuring. With the Vertex Laser built in BAF function, the minimum tree diameter for trees to be included in the plot can be featured.

To use, measure the distance from the tree to the reference point, using the ultrasound method. The result will be minimum diameter a tree must have to be included in the plot, based on the pre-set BAF-factors.
